Grass Cutting

Mowing is an important part of maintaining your lawn and how often you do it will depend on the look you're trying to achieve. For example you may want a beautifully manicured lawn or you might prefer it a bit longer to help encourage wildlife.

The grass cutting season is usually between March and October, but can depend on how dry or wet it's been. When it's raining is not the best time to cut grass, for the lawn or the person doing the mowing!

Hedge Trimming

If you've got an established hedge it will need trimming to keep it lush and dense, where a more formal hedge or bush will need more frequent trimming to keep it neat.

For an informal hedge it will really only need trimming once a year. With a formal hedge it will really need doing around 3 times a year. Usually carried out between the spring and summer months.

Borders

If you don't currently have borders in your garden then I can create them for you, alternatively if you have existing borders that have seen better days I can get them spruced up for you.

Borders can not only look attractive but they can create a boundary between garden and property or different areas within a garden. If your border is a floral one, it will also encourage wildlife and pollinators.

I can help you plan the perfect border and carry out the work to bring the design to reality.
